Faculty, TA's, and Extra Help Use of Email: All faculty and T.A.'s have email addresses which are given below. Students are welcome to ask questions of the T.A.'s or set up appointments for outside question and answer. Email can also be used to correspond with the course director, Dr. Cameron. For example, students may wish to discuss general questions or concerns about the course which they may do so using email. Exam complaints can also be transmitted via email. Dr. Cameron will use email, in the form of a distribution list to email all students concerning certain timely announcements such as lecture hall changes, special lectures or review sessions, and the like. These same announcements will also be included in the announcements section of the course web site as well as on Conet. It should be noted, however, that for security reasons, we cannot give out any grades or test scores using email. The same comment applies to telephone conversations as well. Seeking Extra Help: As a first option, students should make use of the graduate T.A.’s. OFFICE HOURS: Monday: 5:30-6:30pm, BST-T6 rm 141 Wednesday: 1-3pm, BST-T6 rm 141 Friday: 1-3pm, BST-T6 rm 141 Louisa Dowal: louisa.dowal@gmail.com Dwan Gerido: dgerido@notes.cc.sunysb.edu Johnny Johnson: Johnathan64@hotmail.com If the T.A.'s cannot resolve your problem, then you should direct your inquiry to the individual lecturer. For questions to the faculty, you may set up an appointment using email. However, unlike the T.A.'s, the faculty are disinclined to respond to actual questions included in emails, but instead desire to meet with you individually or in small groups since this represents a much better forum for question and answer.
